Christopher Brotzman attended the University of Richmond to study Business Administration—of all things. As someone who still uses his fingers to count, it’s a good thing he found a different career path, attending the Virginia Commonwealth University Brandcenter, where he honed the craft of writing advertising copy. As it turns out, writing tv commercials is where he found his voice.

Since then, his writing has appeared in myriad online publications, but this marks his first foray into books. He sees humor and satire as the best defense against life’s annoyances, both large and small. A lifelong pessimist, he nevertheless believes in the power of words and the refuge found in comedy. For him, a good joke has always been a shield against the chaos outside. With this book, he hopes to spread a little joy—because, frankly, the world could use it
